Information about the college
VSP "Horodyshche Professional College of the Uman National University of Horticulture" is an institution of professional pre-higher education that provides high-quality training for specialists in various fields. The college was founded in October 1891 based on the Moshno-Horodyshche School of the 1st grade, established by the Balashov landowners on the initiative of the agronomist-scientist Mykhailo Yukhymovych Filipchenko.
Over more than a century of its existence, the institution has become an open educational center in the Cherkasy region, preparing thousands of specialists who have made a significant contribution to the development of Ukraine's agricultural sector.
Today, the college trains specialists in the following fields:

- 206 Horticulture and Landscaping
- 071 Accounting and Taxation
- 072 Finance, Banking, and Insurance
- 181 Food Technologies
The college houses a library that serves as the institution's information center. Students are provided with comfortable conditions for independent work, including a reading room with access to electronic resources and the Internet. Special attention is given to organizing educational and pre-graduation internships, allowing students to gain practical skills directly on modern production bases and enterprises.
Through partnerships with leading agricultural companies and enterprises, students have the opportunity to apply theoretical knowledge in practice, master the latest technologies and equipment, and prepare for work in real-world conditions.
Educational activities at the college aim to cultivate high moral values, civic responsibility, and an active life stance among students. Various cultural events, thematic evenings, meetings with prominent figures, excursions, and other activities contribute to the harmonious development of students' personalities.
Sports activities play an important role in students' lives. The college offers sports clubs, including shaping, as well as a gym. Students participate in sports competitions at various levels. Physical culture not only improves health but also fosters team spirit and willpower.
